很多同学的单词可能还在背第一轮专插本3000词，但也有同学已经连四级英语单词都背的差不多了。不管大家进度如何，在复习公共英语的过程中，除了背单词，还要不要记固定(短语)搭配?

答案是肯定的，固定搭配必须得背!

先来看一个短语：come up with，意为“提出(想法、计划等)”。该短语在近十年真题里出现了5次，不可谓不高频!

有同学可能会好奇，公共英语的单选题已取消，为何还要记单选题里考的短语?

理由很简单。大家记住一句话：凡是历年真题出现的考点都得学、都得记，因为它们都是考纲里要求的考点。

尽管我们广东已取消词汇语法单选，但固定搭配一定会考!只不过是转移到阅读理解、语法填空及完型填空中去考查。请大家注意，现在完型的分值已提高一倍，分值由之前的15分提到30分，和4选1型阅读分值相等。

而固定搭配，是完型填空的必考点!就拿近两年真题来分析：

▶(2020年完型)This morning he felt blue again, even the thought of watching a good TV show couldn’t 53 him up.

53. A. wake B. cheer C. beat D. look

分析：这题考查动词与副词up的搭配。如果做题时不知与up搭配，那该题很有可能做错。

代入选项：wake him up叫醒他;cheer him up让他高兴起来;beat him up痛扁他;look him up拜访他。再有前句的blue(忧郁的)可得，答案为B。因为心情忧郁，所以看电视也不能让他高兴起来。

▶(2021年完型)...Until then the job was to 59 the kids....

59. A. look after B. look for

C. look up D. look at

分析：该题考查look短语。A. 照顾;B.寻找;C. 拜访;D. 察看。空格后面是the kids(孩子们)，显然只有“照顾孩子”符合句意。
